Started Working on Some Scales. E Pentatonic

Image
It's been a few days since I posted here. I've been getting back to basics and trying to pick up where I left off. I can't believe how much stuff I actually forgot, but I also can't believe how much stuff is coming back to me almost second nature.  I spent the last few days refreshing and learning the E Pentatonic Scale.  I put together a tutorial list on Youtube  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4oXAACBqKI&list=PLpLi_ilV_BXGMwz7dG1WsZY-xZS2cdJDN

James Shipway Blues Lessons

Spent the afternoon working on these lessons. I found the book on Kindle Unlimited on Amazon, and the link to the lessons was in the book.  Blues Soloing For Guitar, Volume 1: Blues Basics: Learn and Master the Basics of Blues Guitar (with supporting Video and Audio content) The lessons are really straight forward and the video and musical accompaniments are fantastic. You can see the videos here.  https://jamesshipway.lpages.co/video-lessons-vol1/

The Blues Guitar Blog

Started playing guitar again after a 15 + year break.  I played regularly from the age of 12 to around 18, then on and off into my 30's. I set up this blog to document the journey. Focusing mainly on blues and slide guitar techniques.
